As a photographer, I am always looking for unique and creative ways to capture the love and connection between my clients. Recently, I had the opportunity to do just that with a fun and vintage-inspired couples photoshoot. My models for the day, Faris and Lisa, are a full-time travel couple who live for adventure, making them the perfect fit for this creative project.
I had seen a concept a while ago of someone capturing senior pictures "walking on water" and it immediately sparked my imagination. I knew I wanted to put my own spin on it, and the idea of having a couple walking on water together sounded unique, challenging, and something I had never seen before. I couldn't wait to bring this vision to life!
The shoot took place at sunrise, which added a beautiful ethereal quality to the setting. The water was so still and calm, and the steam rising from it added this eerie and dreamlike atmosphere. Faris and Lisa were dressed in classic, timeless clothes that gave off a nostalgic and romantic vibe.
These two are all about adventure and trying new things which made the photoshoot even more fun. They were down for any pose or movement and weren't afraid to get a little wet. Their easygoing attitude and willingness to get weird made for some seriously unique and stunning photos.
I'm so grateful for the opportunity to work with such a wonderful couple and I can't wait to capture their wedding later this year. This photoshoot reminded me of the importance of taking the time to create and step out of my comfort zone as a photographer and creative. It was a refreshing break from the daily routine and I am absolutely in love with the results!
