Allie and Brandon had been planning their wedding since 2019, but due to the pandemic and other factors, their wedding date was pushed back to September, 2022. I had the pleasure of working with them during this time, and it was fun getting to know them over the two-year span leading up to their big day. The wedding took place at the Royal Park Hotel glass conservatory in Rochester, Michigan which provided a beautiful backdrop for a unique and emotional day.
Details & Getting Ready
The getting ready portion of the day is always a special time for the bride and groom, filled with excitement and anticipation. It's a moment to take a breath and reflect on the upcoming celebration. Allie and Brandon’s day was no different. Allie looked stunning in her custom wedding gown and had her bridesmaids help her get ready, while Brandon and his groomsmen got ready in a separate room of the hotel. The energy was high and everyone was excited for the day to come.
First Look & Private Vow Reading
Allie and Brandon decided to do a first look before their ceremony, and it was one of the sweetest moments of the day. Allie was absolutely stunning in her gown, and Brandon's reaction to seeing her was priceless. They read each other letter's and shed happy tears. After their first look, we took some beautiful portraits of the couple and their wedding party.
Bridal Party
Allie had eight of her closest friends as bridesmaids, and each of them wore unique, stunning dresses in shades of blue. Meanwhile, Brandon and his five groomsmen looked like absolute studs in their sleek black suits and bowties. Everyone looked so elegant and romantic, it was hard not to fall in love with the whole crew! But what really made this group stand out was their infectious energy and spirit. They kept the excitement levels high throughout the day and created the most beautiful and unforgettable memories that will last a lifetime. And I was lucky enough to capture it all!
Ceremony
The ceremony was absolutely gorgeous and set the perfect mood for Allie and Brandon's love-filled day. It was held in the stunning Belgium Glass Conservatory at the Royal Park Hotel, with their closest friends and family surrounding them. The entire ceremony was intimate and relaxed, with the beautiful brightly lit backdrop and elegant chandeliers creating a dreamy, ethereal atmosphere.
Reception
The intimate wedding reception was held in one of the ballrooms at the Royal Park Hotel. Brandon surprised everyone during the first dance by singing Shaggy's "Angel" and rapping the main part. His performance was amazing and everyone was surprised and cheering! The speeches given by Allie's sister and Brandon's best friend were full of heartfelt words and memories of the couple. After dinner and speeches the couple and their guests made their way to the dance floor for a memorable ending to a beautiful day.
